From Brussels we went to the south of France so we did a real Tour de France, well over 1300 km. We left on Sunday morning and the first stage we did near small town of Parigny, north of Lyon. It was planned to be very romantic, a night Le Château d'Ailly, a wonderful Castle surrounded by 80 hectares of the estate. And it ended up being almost the holidays with ghosts. We were the only guests in the run-down castle, full of dust and covered with the spider silks. The dinner we had in the tavern in the village Villerest, on the artificial lake at the site of accumulation of the Loire river. It was a little like our Czorsztyn, but just not as nicely, and it is known that a little bit makes a big difference. In general, a place to stay and the surrounding area were very poor. The next morning we started the second stage travelling to the Côte d'Azur. This time we chose a place already known with great views-Cap Antibes. Well, it was much better, however the day turned out to be difficult due to the heat and the crowd of people on the beach. We tried to stay alive having a bath in the sea (on photos). Finally we have a very pleasant evening in Nice, a city with terrible new history. We spent it in a fantastic company of Steph, Fred and GI and happy Rock!
