Yesterday we started a long may weekend. We started from the village of Sokolniki, slightly to the west of Łódź city. Nostalgia Sokolniki pension tempted, as located in the middle of the nice forest. Well, we experienced a slight disappointment. We were just alone in the hotel which was practically closed. And the forest around was but dull, overgrown and populated with weekend people from Łódź city. Today we went with a lot of hope to the Palace Bugaj in the town of Raszków, in Wielkopolska near Ostrów. The place really good-looking (see pictures), but we experienced another disappointment. In the Palace few noisy group events brrrr. And what is more, coming to the palace, we left the main road to take a walk in the forest and stopped in the huge mud, so that we had to be rescued by the tractor (an extremely sympathetic native). So you can safely say that we started the weekend very hard ! Photos from the walks below.
