The next stage of our journey is in Modena, a city famous not only because of medieval history but also thanks to located nearby Maranello, the Ferrari headquarters. The road from Trieste passed quickly, running between the coast (Venice) and fascinating white bands of the Alps. Winter that attacked Italy brought snow not only on mountain routes, but also fields along the motorway. Surprising that also palm trees are under the snow.
In Modena, there is less winter, but quite cold 4-5 degrees. In the afternoon we walked alon gold part of the city, finally with a cup of very good coffee. During dinner in a typical Italian style restaurant (not in the city center) we met an old Italian waiter who remember Poland of the eighties and still uses perfect Polish language!
